With Strength I Shall Survive

With Strength I shall survive,

and survival gives me strength.

I hold my head up high

and know

Anything can be overcome now.

And some technical stuff, for fun…

This was shot with a single strobe  fitted with a barndoor closed down to a slit to provide the narrowest lighting field possible.  50mm prime lens (that f1.4 really is my favorite) and ISO100.  To get the basics in, I shot at f7.1 and dialed down the exposure time to make it all balance out.  B&W conversion and a little fiddling in post-process.
