My Body, My Temple, My Rules
This photo is dedicated to nearly every woman that is, or has been, a part of my life.
All of you seriously kick ass. You demonstrate strength, and poise, and beauty every single day, and everything you do makes the world a better place to be.
I honestly wish I could photograph each and every one of you so you could see yourself as I see you.
Strength, beauty, and grace…
I almost hesitate to say ‘temple’ because each and every one of you is a cathedral – elegant, graceful, and built to last the ages.
And, you live life on your terms, and by your rules. Even in the face of adversity, inequality, harassment, and strife.
I respect the hell out of that, and I respect the hell out of you.
P.S. – I originally posted this with a different photo, but in retrospect it didn’t offer the grace and femininity the sentiment deserved. It embodied a cold, stark, reality that I’ll save for another day.
This photo and others are also available for viewing and purchasing (should you desire) in the gallery, which the photo also pops to.
